 I headed out to the Evansville mud-n-snow harescramble with alot of anticipation. This was going to be my niece's first race, and I had decided to run in two seperate classes, running two races. I loaded up my trusty YFZ, my not-so-trusty Wolverine 450, and the Predator 90 in the trailer on Saturday night, and my sister and niece came up to stay overnight so we could get out early in the morning. My niece and I loaded the last bit of her gear, and we all got to bed at a decent hour to be rested for Sunday's race..
We headed out at 7:30, and got to the track about 10am. Got everybody signed up, and they announced that the races were not going to be 30 minutes, but rather 50 minutes each. Ok, I liked that idea, but was nervous if my niece would like it as much. No worries though, she was thrilled that she could race longer. I suited up, gave my sis the camera and headed to the line.

4th place at Walden MX Mud n Snow Scramble - 1-17-10 |

 Wow.. What a fun race..
I originally planned to go to Evansville for their Mud and Snow scrambles instead of up to Walden, but the day before the event, Evansville postponed their race for a week due to bad weather. I decided to hit Walden at the last minute, my quad was all prepped for Evansville, and I figured why not at least get some race time in..
Well, I show up, pay $30 at the gate and ask where reg is.. The guy says "you just did!" LOL. Ok, so it was pretty informal..
Well, I rolled in about 12:30, and Blizzard (Chris) shows up 5 mins later.. Mojave Magic (Mike) rolls in at almost 1, and they wanted us on the line at 1:15.. Well, I gotta hand it to them, they WERE on time! I decided to run B class today because C was mostly sportsman class machines, or 4x4's.. We all go to the line, get handed a number to stick on our helmet and they started the race.

 I want to take this time to welcome my niece, Olivia Perske, to the Carrillo Racing team! She will be racing a 2006 Polaris Predator in a few XC races this year, beginning with a Mud and Snow Harescramble in Evansville, PA on 1/17/2010!!
